Rural Schools in Costa Rica

8-day tour

Volunteering in Rural Schools in Costa Rica is an Educational Travel Program for students that allows them to see Costa Rica in a way that few outsiders get to see on their tours. Due to Costa Rica’s school schedule, students from PA, NJ, and beyond can witness schools in session through the opportunities we provide.

Sample Itinerary of your Adventures in Costa Rica:

Day One: Arrive in Costa Rica and Greeted by our Costa Rican Tour Guide. See local sites, check into the hotel, and hold evening reflections and expectations with our Costa Rican guide.

Day Two – Six: Wake-up and visit our school in session. Meet the students through an opening activity. Most of our tours are spent here teaching English, arts, sports, and engaging in light construction.

Day Seven: Hiking and Swimming with our Costa Rican guide. Tour leaders can also choose adding a Catamaran tour in the Pacific Ocean with snorkelling, waterslides on the boat, and more.

Day Eight: Say Pura Vida and Return Home

Interested in a Focus on Sports Programs?

Teachers of students who love the opportunities of this trip but who are looking for more playing sports with locals, should inquire about the adventures we offer in international sports programs. These have elements of educational travel tours in both service and sports.
